PointerApps ("we") runs Joyminute. This page explains what we collect and why. Short version: only what the game needs, and never your browsing.
What we store
- Your scores and leaderboard results.
- Your streak, XP, coins and badges.
- Your settings.
- Your purchases, if paid features are ever switched on.
- If you create an account: your sign-in identity (Google account ID or email address) and the display name you choose.
What we never do
- We never read or collect your browsing history or the pages you visit.
- We do not take over your new tab or change your search engine.
- We do not sell your data and we show no ads at launch.
Guests and accounts
As a guest, your scores and streak stay on your device only. If you create an account, they are synced to our servers so you can join leaderboards and use more than one device. Sign-in uses Google or an email magic link, with no password.
Optional emails
Emails such as monthly announcements and weekly recaps are opt-in. You can turn them off at any time in your account settings or with the unsubscribe link.
Reviews
We may ask you to leave a store review. We never give coins, badges or unlocks for reviews, and we ask everyone the same way.
Your rights: export and delete
From your account page in the web app you can export all your data or delete your account. Deleting removes your profile, scores and streak from our servers. If you are in the EU/UK you also have GDPR rights of access, correction and erasure; contact us at support@pointerapps.net for anything the account page does not cover.
Service providers and retention
Your data is stored on our own backend infrastructure. We keep it while your account is active and remove it when you delete the account.
Children
Joyminute is not directed at children under 13.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above. Questions: support@pointerapps.net.
